Question 1

What does MatchDC do?

Accepted Answer

It connects companies that need data center equipment and services with suppliers who can deliver them. The goal is to shorten the path from a request to the first offer.

Question 2

How much do buyers pay?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. Posting a request, browsing suppliers and connecting with them is always free for buyers.

Question 3

What do suppliers pay for?

Accepted Answer

For membership, which unlocks visibility in the register and incoming requests. On top of that there is a fee on deals that genuinely came through the platform. The supplier agrees to the amount in advance, before any contact is revealed.

Question 4

Who can join the platform?

Accepted Answer

Every company is approved first, which is when we verify that it really exists. Without approval there is no visibility in the register, no incoming requests and no membership to buy.

Question 5

When are contact details revealed?

Accepted Answer

Only once both sides show interest in connecting, the buyer and the supplier separately. Until then nobody sees any contacts.
